For EDF-UTO, Cegelec CEM designed, developed and qualified a maintenance operation with high radiological risks on the 900 MW units of the French nuclear fleet.

Cegelec CEM’s services covered:

  • Sequencing of the maintenance operation, taking the radiological risks into account

    • Remote-controlled cutting machines 
    • Remote-controlled machining equipment
    • Internal and external remote-controlled welding machines
    • Remote-controlled surface treatment machines
  • Unit qualification of operating procedures and operators
  • Overall qualification of the maintenance operation with the team
  • Tool maintenance
  • Maintaining qualification validity
  • Completion of repairs on site according to the qualified process
